Education, Creativity, & Propensity for Entertaining
Celine Rosario Lopez, born October 7th, 1958, is a native New Mexican who resides in Albuquerque. She began her penchant for entertaining as a small girl in her parents' house, creating dances and performances at home, as well as participating in elementary school band and plays. As a teen, she continued band and was in the high school drill team as a senior. She would find time to collaborate and teach neighborhood children simple dance routines to perform. As a teacher, naturally she took on the role of director and producer of school events and performances at the elementary level, and also started Albuquerque's first elementary public school Drill Team in 1983. She attended the University of New Mexico with a B.S. in Education, and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has an undergraduate minor in Special Ed, and a graduate minor is Art Education.

Acting
Celine joined Facebook in 2009 and found new friends and old. She then found friends that were in the NM Film Industry and began a screen writing class in 2011 when she saw a casting call from On Location Casting. It was her first film audition and she got the role on Tru TV's "All Worked Up". It was then that she got the "acting bug" reignited from her early years.
In early 2017, after 6 years of many acting classes, acting workshops, student films, independent films, and 4 Albuquerque Stage Productions, Celine became SAG eligible and was signed by MGR Talent Agency and is on her way to bigger and more exciting projects.

Disc Jockey
While attending UNM, an undergrad SPED class requirement was to visit at least 10 Special Needs programs. In 1979, one of those programs was a special dance for mentally handicapped adults. She was intrigued and began volunteering there on Friday night, when the DJ quite and she offered to fill in using 45 records and a home turntable system. That began her career in club Djing for small crowds, as the County Therapeutic Recreation program decided to hire her. Celine continued to DJ for both the County and City programs until 1985 when she decided to apply at "Juliana's" Nightclub located in the basement of the Regent hotel which is now The Doubletree Hotel. Celine became a favorite with the crowds and became a master at Techniques 1200  turntable mixing.. When "Juliana's" closed, Celine went on to DJ at various clubs including "Studebakers", "The Clarion 4 Seasons Hotel"  (DQ Lounge and Scubas), Howard Johnson's Hotel Lounge, "The Pyramid Club", and "Our Place 1 and 2". She was relieved of her DJ job in 2007 when the club owner decided Celine was "too old", which turned out to be a blessing as Celine's mother became ill and needed constant attention.
